Another Update

blueeowynLast night I went dancing with H, E, and F. It was in a way harder than I am used to (I actually had to think about what I was doing) and easier (given I'm not a part of the group, no one was going to snub me if I had a brain fart or use it for political maneuvering). I liked how the people interacted with each other (and us). I also liked dancing with so many different people (I had a different partner at the start of every dance). We had a lot of fun and I got some compliments on my dancing and learning skills (GoMe!). I will do that again eventually but not getting home until late (nasty fog) and not getting to sleep until after 1:00 (see above fog and add in that Java didn't get home until late and I was worried about him) and we now have one VERY sleepy BE.
Tonight I get to see Peter work with SweetiePie (aka Echo aka Babycakes). He says she is doing splendidly (yea! GoEcho!). Mom & I will then mess with her a bit (grooming, trick training, just visiting), get dinner, and head back south in hopes of getting me to sleep at a reasonable hour.
In other news, the curios are coming together nicely. I even am starting to get ideas on how to deal with the ornaments that I want in there but won't stand on their own. I have a growing collection of porcelain ornaments of horses & carousel items ... some will stand on their own, some won't. We have some extra studs for putting in shelves with and I am wondering if I can string a wire (with loops every so often) across the space and hang from the loops (by using loops, they hopefully won't slide into each other).
This weekend will be shopping, hanging with Java, doing some house-work, birthday stuff with Java's family, and trains (WOOT!). We have 4 yes and 1 probable for the train game playing on Monday (18xx if you are curious).
I also need to figure out when I will use the holiday I earned but didn't use over break (I have 3 months to use the hours).
