Yayyy~! I randomly went on your lj after reading your reply to my comment, and noticed the emergency dragon. So I started to click and refresh, and gave the link to my friend even XD and we both clicked n' refreshed and~ and yes it's a female~
I'm very happy ... I've wanted one of each of the silvers for awhile and kept getting boys (I kept the first, abandoned 2 and had 2 grow up while I wasn't looking).
I confess I have zero understanding of what is going on with these. I tried clicking on one, and got a very confusing and broken web page with no obvious thing to do next. Thereafter I ignored them. But they kept showing up on LJ. So I did the logical next thing: mockery.
The idea (when the site is up) is that you get egg, if it gets enough people looking at it and/or clicking on it it can hatch and mature into a dragon. You can e-breed them to get more. Java thinks it is a brilliant way to get the hits on a website up to create a game like this and turn it loose. Supposedly the person who runs the dragoncave is a high school kid.
Due to various things, the site has had some problems recently and it is possible that you ran into that. Normally if you click on a dragon (or egg), you get sent to a page with info on the dragon.
