Maryland Humanities took some inspiration from something called the #30DaySongChallenge and set up a #30DayBookChallengeMDH

My Answers
I'm going to try to do as many different authors as I can in a reasonable amount of time. I'm also limiting this to books that I have read.

- book with a color in the title - The Black Stallion by Walter Farley
- book with a number in the title - Eight Cousins by Louisa May Alcott
- great summer read - so many choices. Robot Dreams (or Robot Visions) by Isaac Asimov
- book the reminds you of someone close to you - Encyclopedia Brown books by Donald Sobol
- great book to read aloud - Put Me In The Zoo - Robert Lopshire (or anything by Seuss)
- book given to you as a gift - Seven Lady Godivas: The True Facts Concerning History's Barest Family by Dr. Seuss
- book about a trip or journey - Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell or The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers
- book related to eating or drinking - Newsflesh by Mira Grant (ok, so that is a bit macabre)
- book that makes you happy - Chicks in Chain Mail by Esther Friesner
- book that makes you cry - Rilla of Ingleside by LM Montgomery
- book you can read over and over - again so many choices. These will overlap authors elsewhere. Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery, Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon, Arrows trilogy and By the Sword by Mercedes Lackey
- book from your teen years - Bless Me, Father - Neil Boyd
- book by an author outside of the US - Shall We Tell the President - Jeffrey Archer or SummerDanse - Terie Garrison
- book with a love story - Dahlia's Music by- Caitlyn Quirk
- an adaptation or reinterpretation - Fire Rose by Mercedes Lackey
- book that is considered a classic - The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
- book made into a movie you like - Black Beauty by Anna Sewell (the 1994 version)
- book from the year you were born (or chosen near your year) - Dragonflight by Anne McCaffrey
- book that makes you ponder life - Radium Girls by Kate Moore
- book with many meanings for you - Custard Protocol by Gail Carriger
- book with someone's name in the title - The Six Wives of Henry VIII by Alison Weir
- book that inspires you - Protector of the Small by Tamora Pierce
- book you think that everyone should read- Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein
- book with illustrations that you love - White Stallion of Lipizza by Marguerite Henry, Illustrated by Wesley Dennis
- book by an author no longer living - The Lost Prince by Francis Hodgson Burnett
- book you were obsessed with after you read it - oh so many choices. I don't remember the title but it was a collection of short stories as part of a set of books for children. Some of the stories I really got into (the one about the dog who went to get a newspaper and then got beaten up by another dog).
- book with an author from Maryland - Bride Quartet by Nora Roberts
- book by an author you love - So many choices. I think I'll go with Oath of Gold by Elizabeth Moon
- childhood favorite - Big Red by Jim Kjelgaard
- book that reminds you of yourself - this is the hardest question. I don't think of myself as the hero of a story. I think that Gabriel by Jean Slaughter Doty is closest. I would like to think I would to the right thing and I can see myself doing what I can to save Heidi and Gabriel.
