Yes, I am still around, just still insanely busy. Much to write up and hopefully some of it will actually be done soon. *sigh*

The school year starts soon and traffic will be such fun. Fest starts soon and that is fun but a lot of work/time (yes, I am back; yes I am doing what I did last year; yes Javasaurus is back; yes he is doing what he did last year). Speaking of which, when/if any of you come to the festival, either of us may or may not have time to chat with you if/when you run into us and we are supposed to stay in character so asking me about my day-job is not really appropriate. I hear that a few people last year got their proverbial noses bent out of joint because I didn't have time to talk. Sometimes that is what happens. I do have a job to do there and places I am supposed to be at certain times. To quote a wise person I know, Deal With It. Last year was particularly insane with:
I heard later (and even this year) that some people who wanted to chat during my two sprints (walking sprints but no time to waste) got offended that I couldn't stop and chat and at least one said rather rude things about me (and my species, honor, etc.).
Whereas other people (Hi Turnberry! Hi Missy!) understand that at certain times there are things that I need to do and while I like chatting with nice people one on one (the drunks and a$$'s are another story; personally I wish they would stop wasting perfectly good oxygen); sometimes I can't do it. That is why I love my true friends.
Anyway, I am around but swamped, if you need to get in touch with me, my LJ email is probably your best bet (name @ livejournal [dot] com).
Topics to be posted (some public, some not - obnoxious people are trying to use my postings to get me in trouble so more is likely to remain friends locked ... if you want/need to be added to my friends list, email me with who in the world you are and why ... some stuff will remain locked to me and Java):
working with equids, vacation, neat fireworks, parks, carousels, models
and rants/discussions on:
relationships, military stupidity, entitlement complexes, moronic decisions/actions
I also have 2 HUGE quote files that need some attention.

12:25-12:30 - sprint across site
12:30-12:40 - grab water and lunch (pre-packed), visit privy
12:40-1:00 - get ready for Gatehouse Show
1:00-1:25 - Gatehouse show
1:25-1:40 - Gatehouse strike
1:40-1:45 - sprint across site
1:46-2:25 - at joust field
