I Rode Echo!

xpioti work with Echo.
Peter was giving a lesson to Xi which included trotting with no stirrups (which prompted much squawking). Echo was a bit tired since she had been off for a few weeks then worked for a couple of days in a row.
It was decided that I would ride her while she cooled out. So, Mom got my helmet (I'm stupid but not THAT stupid) and up I went. It felt weird not having my 'normal' footgear. Echo is less round than Dancer, Xi's stirrups are shorter than I am used to (Peter yelled at me to drop those stirrups ... riding like a jockey won't help). She is in some ways more forward than Dancer (she really reaches) and in some ways less forward (she isn't as eager to GO! ... or at least not when she thinks she is done).
She was stiff (bend? BEND? You want me to BEND????), and a bit resistant; but some of it is that I weigh more, some of it is that I am outta shape, and some of it is that I ride slightly differently and I think she was a bit confused.
Peter says that we need to get me up more than once every 2 years.s
