Busy Weekend

Friday
Went to see Peter, Paul & Mary at Wolf Trap. They are still going strong. Mary is having some minor problems with one leg so used a cane & sat for part of the show but still joined in on the full, teasing the guys (and being teased). It is wonderful to see how much the 3 of them really like each other. It is also wonderful to hear several hundred voices singing the classics.

Saturday
I did some stuff around the house then went to rehearsal. Hot & drippy (before the skies opened on us). But things are coming together for the dancing. Had a chance to chat with a few friends at site which is nice.

Saturday night we went to Grey's for her birthday party. I finally remembered to take the box of dragons that I had been holding for her for a few months ... we also gave her a Puff the Magic Dragon from the concert which I picked up on Friday.

Sunday
Got up fairly early and went to work on stuff. We learned a few things about putting up door numbers. First, double check the alignment of the bracket before putting any glue on it. Second, double check how much free space is going to be in the bracket after the numbers are in (so you don't push everything to once side and leave a quarter inch gap). Third, please verify which way is UP on all numbers before putting them in. The zeros are NOT necessarily symmetrical, 6 and 9 are not necessarily interchangeable.

Then I finally got to see Pirates of the Caribbean. Fun movie. Cool changes.

Then we were off to Chris' parents house for his sister's birthday.
