I suspect the real interpretation is that if people could get at God for the bad things that happen, they'd attack Him.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that interpretation ... I was more reacting to what has gone on with some of my friends who are 'different' and how the parental units deal with their children's reaction to the difference. Heck, even some of the so-called adults.
